Rompers, the most playful of the cover-ups are perfect when we have that playful spirit. They go best with bandeau or strapless suits since they tend to be strapless and the bottom goes well with most swimsuit bottoms since they are shorts. Rompers are one piece outfits with a drawstring at the waist and give us very girlish look.
If you’re still out shopping and haven’t found just the right cover-up yet and suddenly you’re invited to a beach party tonight, just dive into your closet. No, not to hide but to dig out some things that can very nicely cover the occasion and take care of your immediate problem.
If you’ve noticed all those plaid shirts around and have a few hanging in your closet, voila! The perfect cover-up. Even better then your own is your boyfriend’s or husband’s, the oversized version, which is long enough so you don’t need shorts underneath.
And remember all those prairie skirts? You might still have one hidden away in the dark recesses somewhere. You can wear it with a white V-neck T-shirt or if feeling more adventurous, pull it up around your bust as a strapless dress.
