Traditions at Christmas Time

Listen Now hspace= width=

Roasting chestnuts over an open fire, hot wassail, family gatherings, plum puddings, Christmas crackers, popcorn chains for the tree, handmade decorations, red poinsettias, candle light Christmas eve services, fruit cakes,
an orange in your stocking, giving to others – so many different and varied traditions that bring back warm memories every year.

This year the Yaktivate.com staff, scattered around the country from Alaska to south Florida, decided to share with each other our own individual traditions that always hold a warm space in our heart, year after year. We had such fun doing this that we thought we would go ahead and also share them with you! So listen in as everyone on the staff shares with you a memorable Christmas or favorite Christmas tradition.

We invite you to also participate and share your favorite Christmas traditions by clicking on Join the Discussion button. By going to our group site, you will be able to share your memories and traditions with all of us. You might even want to pick up a new tradition and incorporate that into your celebrations going forward.

We would like to thank our podcast sponsors who make this free podcast possible:

“Conversations with Mrs.Claus”, found on our sister channel, TheFamilyYak.com.  Host Bernadette Dimitrov, known as the Australian Mrs. Claus, believes in Christmas all year round but especially in this month of December. She and experts from around the world, including Santa, bring a toy-bag-full of Christmas tips, tools and insights to help you have a happier, healthier, and a more joyous life! Listen to Conversations with Mrs. Claus on TheFamilyYak.com channel.
